The Cruyff Football Tournament 2025 was a great success, thanks to the dedication and passion of all participants.
FC Barcelona and AFC Ajax, icons of youth football development, led the tournament alongside some of the best academies in Europe. This event gave young talents from around the world the opportunity to compete against the best in a unique football environment.
In 2026, we will return with an even bigger edition, reinforcing Johan Cruyff’s legacy and taking the competition to the next level.

The Mare Nostrum Cup opens with a vibrant and festive ceremony that perfectly sets the tone for one of Spain’s largest grassroots football tournaments. Held each Easter in Salou, the opening parade along the iconic Passeig Jaume I brings together over 3,000 young players representing more than 400 teams from across Europe and beyond. Players proudly carry their club and national flags through the streets, cheered on by families and local supporters.
