What are Talent ID events about??

We are pleased to invite aspiring young footballers to our Showcase Talent ID Event at the University of Hertfordshire this May.

This event offers a unique opportunity for boys in the U6 to U16 age groups, both outfield players and goalkeepers to demonstrate their skills in a fun, supportive, and professional environment.

Players are put into relevant age categories and set various tasks to help demonstrate and identify those players with stand out ability that have gone under the radar of scouts to date.

This is a great opportunity for many young players that may have started their football journey a little later or for those that simply have improved and gone unnoticed.

Event Highlights

 – Technical coaching sessions by performance coaches and small-sided games, designed to encourage creativity, decision-making, and ball mastery.

 – A positive, high-energy atmosphere, focused on player development.

 – Attendance of scouts from many professional clubs

All players are welcome, though prior experience in academy or grassroots football is recommended.

What you need to bring for the day:

Players require a snack and a drink for the day. Players also need football clothing, shin pads moulded boots for the Astro.

Spaces are limited, and early registration is strongly recommended.

DID YOU KNOW?

At Soccer Elite Tours, talented players attending our Talent ID Showcase events may also be identified for future SELECT SQUAD opportunities. Throughout each event, our staff will be observing players who show strong ability, attitude, and potential, with selected players gaining access to further opportunities, including professional club Talent ID events and exclusive showcase fixtures.

    SELECT SQUADS FAQs

    Our Select Squads are designed to give players additional development opportunities alongside their current grassroots or academy commitments, including experiences with professional clubs.

    Players can take part in:

    * Showcase matches
    * European tournaments
    * UK-based tournaments

    No. We carefully schedule all Select Squad opportunities during half terms and midweek periods to ensure they complement, rather than interfere with, regular team commitments

    Players are identified through our Talent ID events and tournament programmes, where they are highlighted by our coaching staff.

    If selected, a member of the SETT team will be in touch via email or phone.

    Our Select Squads are led by full-time professional coaches holding UEFA B and UEFA A Licence qualifications, ensuring every player receives a positive, high-level developmental experience.
